Log for 12 November 2004
The day broke with the two of us both feeling a little better. Managed a light breakfast and then off to see the fish off the jetty, where we saw a big fish taking bread thrown into the water.
A lounging day to recover was planned, Mandy sought protection from the sun by sitting under a large umbrella. I laid on a sun bed, but became unsettled and went for a swim. John from Liverpool was trying out his snorkel but could not get the hang of it so insisted I borrowed it for the remainder of our holiday.
Young Jack went to collect his snorkelling gear and together we searched the pool for treasure. Within a very short time Jack discovered gold, this was someone's lost earring.
