Golf Lesson 3

So how did I perform after the golf first lesson?

Before getting into what happened, I also must point out that I also got some Golf shoes, and also got a glove so that my hand would have a better grip.

Thursday the day after my first lesson and back to the 31 par golf course. I went round again in 61 but this was still due to me trying to smack the ball 150 metres and beyond.

Tuesday the following week I went for another round and although I started bad, I cut three strokes off my previous best and got round in 58. I started to slow my swing and relax and found that I was beginning to be either one or two over par.

Since I had practised with the 6 iron I drove off with it. I did try with a 3 wood but it was a waste of time so kept using the 6.

I went to the driving range with a few irons and practised my swing off a tee and also off the mat. Funny how different the club to ball sounds when you get a good contact.

Darren went to Mike to ask him if he could teach Brandon aged six. However Mike said that he was on the small side and maybe in a year.

I had a look at JJB and saw a 7 wood going cheap and thought why not get it for a tenner. What a difference I could relax and hit the ball a considerable distance (for me at least).

How did my second lesson go?
