Inspiration to Novice Golfers

I thought I might give inspiration to those embarking on learning golfing, this page and sub-pages tell you how I am going.

First Game of Golf

The par for the nine hole course is 31. I went with Darren (my brother in law) and did not have any clubs so hired some but got right handed and not left handed clubs.

My score was in the sixties and some holes even took me over ten shots. What a nightmare!! I had caught the bug and thought time to get some clubs, bag and Trolley.

I went onto eBay and managed to get an almost full set of left handed clubs, bag and Trolley along with a few balls too. See my page showing left handed golf sets on offer from eBay.

Second Game of Golf

With my new clubs I thought I might do better, did I, no I did not get any better at all.

Third Game of Golf

No change, score still over 60. That was after 192 balls at the driving range.

My Birthday Presents

My birthday saw me going to the driving range and there waiting for me was Mike the Golf Pro. Darren had secretly booked a lesson for me.

Find out how the first lesson went
